The musician's read
Ace Gillett’s Lounge is an underground Fort Collins cocktail lounge inside The Armstrong Hotel with recurring live performers. The room is intimate, polished, and music-focused, making jazz, blues, soul, piano, standards, vocalists, and small ensembles the strongest fits. For musicians, controlled dynamics and sophisticated presentation are essential because guests are seated close and the music is central to the lounge experience. A trio, quartet, duo, or piano-led group can work beautifully. The atmosphere rewards detailed musicianship and tasteful arrangements more than volume. Ace Gillett’s is one of Fort Collins’ strongest targets for experienced jazz and lounge players looking for an upscale room with a real live-music identity and an audience that appreciates polished small-ensemble performance.
