Venue review
The musician's read
The Devonian Ballroom at the Calgary Petroleum Club is a private downtown event room used for ticketed concerts, opera and special music events. It suits polished concert, vocal and ensemble presentations more than casual bar-band sets, with a formal ballroom atmosphere that raises expectations for presentation. Musicians should think in terms of an event audience and a complete program rather than a loose nightlife set. The venue is 21+.
