Foster's Main Street Tavern

The Raleigh Playhouse and Theatre is a 199-seat multi-use theatre in downtown Beckley, with musical acts, stage productions, classic and arthouse films, and no seat more than 61 feet from the stage. Most shows land Friday and Saturday, but the room can host events any night. That is a true intimate-theatre opportunity: the audience is close, the stage matters, and nobody can hide behind a bad lighting plot in the back row. Public review excerpts praise the small, intimate theatre and its productions, with a basement ultra-lounge adding another part of the building’s nightlife personality. Booking can go through the venue’s social channel, and performers bring their own PA and microphones. That last fact deserves a full advance: confirm power, PA size, monitors, acoustics, stage dimensions, lighting, engineer, load-in, parking, capacity, ticketing, security, merch, hospitality, and settlement. A theatre is not automatically plug-and-play simply because it has curtains. The room could suit touring artists, regional bands, comedy, acoustic shows, tribute acts, specialty events, and presentations that benefit from close sightlines. Send direct performance links, expected draw, preferred dates, production needs, and a concise description of the event. Weekday flexibility can be valuable if someone is actually promoting it. The Raleigh is a real small-theatre option for performers ready to build an intentional show. Bring a proper production plan, a confident set, and material worth hearing from 61 feet away.

Backyard Pizza and Raw Bar is a downtown Huntington wood-fired pizza and raw-bar restaurant that adds live music during the summer. The programming appears seasonal, so the strongest opportunity is likely tied to warm-weather traffic and a casual dining crowd. Local artists who can keep a set lively without demanding full concert-room attention should be a natural match. For performers, this is the kind of date where atmosphere, pacing, and broad appeal matter more than elaborate production.
