Marcy's Bar & Lounge is a live-music stop with its own local physics. The listing describes it this way: "Marcy's Bar & Lounge and Cafe on Colville is set in the historic 1935 Art Deco building on the corner of Colville and Alder in downtown Walla Walla, WA." Live music is held mostly on Friday nights and occasionally on Thursday and Saturday nights. There is never a cover charge. Performance That information matters because a band should play the room that exists, not the imaginary version waiting in a press photo. Think about the likely crowd, the time of night, and whether the show needs to invite people closer or keep their evening moving. Start with a song that earns attention, vary the energy, and treat the volume knob as an instrument rather than a declaration of war. Booking is directed through email. Artists supply their own sound system and gear. Confirm the performance location, engineer, PA, inputs, microphones, monitors, backline, power, load-in, parking, soundcheck, set times, breaks, curfew, food, hospitality, ticketing, merchandise, payment, and settlement. The public listing does not establish those current operational terms. Send a concise pitch with live footage, dates, musical fit, realistic draw, and a clear technical plan. Arrive with a tidy rig and enough judgment to leave the room happier it booked music in the first place. This is not mysticism; it is how a good show gets invited
