The Windsock Cocktail Lounge is a Prescott room with Tuesday-Saturday shows, Sunday-afternoon blues jam, cold beverages, a stated love of music, and a booking lane that leans mostly toward cover bands. Facebook works best. That calendar gives artists multiple routes in: a weeknight band night, a weekend slot, or a Sunday jam where you can learn whether the crowd prefers its blues smoky, loud, or both. Send Facebook a live clip, full lineup, cover repertoire, desired dates, draw, set length, and a concise technical outline. Confirm PA, monitors, microphones, board, engineer, lighting, stage area, soundcheck, load-in, payment, drinks, food, merch, breaks, Sunday-jam participation, and promotion. The source does not describe a house sound system, so get the facts before you decide how much equipment to bring. A cocktail lounge can have perfectly useful sound—or a cherished relic waiting for its final guitar solo. Country, blues, classic rock, southern rock, pop covers, Americana, roots, soul, and party bands have the clearest lane. The Sunday jam offers a natural blues connection, while Tuesday-Saturday allows a broader cover-band rotation. Keep the set familiar enough for a bar crowd, but choose material with enough personality that the audience remembers more than the drinks. The Windsock suits versatile cover bands that can communicate quickly through Facebook and work a local lounge calendar. Start with the strongest live clip, ask about the sound, and make the weekly music schedule feel like a reason to choose the lounge over staying home.
