Midnight Swim

In San Antonio, Texas, Pizzeria Vesuvio accommodates about 50 people under an All Ages policy. This relaxed restaurant is run by a small team with extensive food-industry experience. Live music takes place outdoors on Friday and Saturday nights from 8 to 10 PM. Pizzeria Vesuvio programs Acoustic and All Genres, while Hip Hop and Metal are outside the booking scope. Solo acts are the priority, with local performers and occasional regional or touring artists welcome. The standard offer is $100 plus a meal, and performers need to bring their own PA and microphones. Before confirming Pizzeria Vesuvio, settle any venue-specific timing, promotion, or payment details.

Serna's Backyard Sports Bar has one live-music night: Friday, starting at 9:30 PM. Mostly cover bands. Facebook bookings. That is the entire instruction manual, and honestly it is refreshing. You get one shot a week to make the place louder, later, and more useful than a room full of televisions. A Friday 9:30 slot needs songs that arrive awake. Do not open with your delicate apology to adulthood. Start with a hook, get the band locked in, and give the bar something to do besides wait for the second drink. Cover bands need a deep set, big choruses, and enough rhythm to keep the crowd from wandering outside to inspect somebody's truck. Send a Facebook message with a live clip, lineup, Fridays you want, and a real picture of what the band does. No studio-only fantasy material. The booking person needs to see whether you can move a room. A phone video with people yelling the chorus is worth more than a thousand words about professionalism. You bring the PA and mics, so ask about power, the backyard setup, weather, load-in, sound limits, set length, pay, and the plan if the sky starts throwing furniture. Outdoor bar gigs are simple until the wind gets involved. Serna's is for cover bands that can make one Friday night feel like a weekly event. Bring the songs, keep the transitions clean, and do not let the set die before the fries get cold.
