Venue review
The musician's read
Sea Cider Farm + Ciderhouse gives musicians a destination-style setting rather than a standard bar room: a working farm cidery that also handles weddings, events and festival programming. Folk, acoustic and local acts fit the property especially well, with enough event infrastructure to support more substantial live-music days. The audience is likely to be there for the full farm-and-cider experience, so warm, accessible material should travel well. The venue is 21+.

Read the whole thingBackroads Brewing in Nelson is a downtown craft taproom with room for about 105 people, live music and occasional private events. Rock, folk, acoustic and local acts all fit, and the size is big enough to create real crowd energy without losing intimacy. Musicians should expect a social brewery audience but enough musical focus to justify a proper set. All ages are welcome.
