Merchant Bar is downtown Wilmington gastrobar with chef-driven small plates and cocktails that served as an indoor performance venue during the 2026 Ladybug Music Festival. The programming spans Folk, Americana, rock, and soul, giving artists a useful sense of what already works in the room. 2026 festival programming confirms live performances at this operating downtown gastrobar. Age access is All Ages — cited 2026 Ladybug festival; normal venue age policy unknown. For an open-air crowd, folk, americana, and rock gives the venue a broad enough lane to work for both dedicated listeners and casual passersby. That makes it more interesting than a generic indoor bar date for artists who play well to an open crowd.
