Venue review
The musician's read
Double Wide is a long-running Dallas live-music bar with a dedicated concert room and bands at least every Friday and Saturday. The venue’s retro, dive-bar character makes rock, punk, country, garage, Americana, psych, metal, and alternative acts especially natural fits. For musicians, the room is intimate enough for direct crowd interaction but established enough to attract serious local music fans. Full bands fit comfortably, and a concise high-energy set works better than a long bar format. Double Wide is a strong Dallas target for local and touring original artists looking for a credible Deep Ellum-area room with a direct public booking contact and a crowd already accustomed to discovering bands.
