The Hub is a 400-capacity, 19+ Kitchener venue formerly known as Wax Nightclub. It operates on an event-only basis, opening when a show is scheduled rather than keeping regular bar hours, and performances can land on any night of the week. All genres are considered, while booking inquiries are submitted by email. That flexibility gives promoters room to shape the calendar, but it also makes each event more self-contained than a casual drop-in pub date. The production package is not confirmed, so acts should establish PA, monitoring, microphones, lighting, backline, engineer coverage, and load-in access before committing. Set times, ticketing, compensation, and promotion responsibilities also need direct agreement. The Hub can accommodate a substantial crowd, but an event-driven room rewards a proposal with a clear audience plan rather than optimism wearing a laminate.
