The Sebastian Vail

12 Volt Tavern is olde Town dive/bar venue with recurring live bands and a rock-and-roll orientation. The programming spans Rock, Blues, and Bar Bands, giving artists a clear sense of what already works in the room. From a player's standpoint, good for bar-band setup; listing says live bands Saturday nights. Age access is 21+. 12 Volt Tavern is an Olde Town Arvada neighborhood bar with a late-night local feel and a history of live music. The room is intimate and social rather than a formal concert space, making rock, punk, garage, indie, blues, singer-songwriters, and compact full bands natural fits. For musicians, a small footprint and stage personality matter more than elaborate production. The audience is likely to be close to the performers and moving between the bar and music throughout the night, so a direct, energetic set works well. Original material can fit naturally in this kind of room. 12 Volt Tavern is a good Arvada target for local and regional bands looking for a small Olde Town date where live performance feels immediate and informal rather than highly produced. This is a hospitality room, so the strongest performers will know how to keep a social crowd engaged without overpowering it. For the right act, that can be a solid working date rather than background filler.

Asteria Theatre is a current 2026 CMU ticketing lists live productions and music events at Asteria Theatre. The room is designed around a seated or focused audience and a professional stage, so artists can present a complete concert rather than compete with normal bar traffic. For musicians, polished stagecraft, formal advance work, and a well-paced show matter more than the multi-set format common in restaurants and clubs. It is a strong fit for established regional artists, touring performers, ensembles, and projects that benefit from attentive listening and theater-level production. Asteria Theatre is worth considering for musicians whose audience size, stage setup, and live format match the venue’s scale and atmosphere. Before pursuing a date, bands should think about whether their normal set length, equipment footprint, volume, and audience draw suit the way people actually use the space during live events.
