The Select

Cigar City Club is a sandy Springs cigar lounge with recurring live jazz/blues and concert-style entertainment. The venue combines live entertainment with food, drinks, and conversation, so musicians need to complement the room while still giving guests a reason to listen. For musicians, controlled volume, strong vocals, and a compact, professional setup are especially valuable. Solo artists, duos, trios, and compact full bands can all work depending on the night, with the strongest performers able to move smoothly between atmosphere and higher-energy moments. Based on the venue’s programming, jazz, blues are among the styles most likely to feel natural here, although individual events can broaden that mix. Cigar City Club is worth considering for musicians whose audience size, stage setup, and live format match the venue’s scale and atmosphere. Before pursuing a date, bands should think about whether their normal set length, equipment footprint, volume, and audience draw suit the way people actually use the space during live events.

Atrium Health Amphitheater is a large outdoor Macon concert venue with an active calendar of national touring artists and full-band shows. The amphitheater is built for substantial audiences, professional stage production, sound, lighting, backstage operations, and major promoted events. Rock, country, pop, hip-hop, R&B, alternative, and other touring genres can all fit depending on the bill. For musicians, the venue is best suited to established artists, large support slots, and nationally promoted packages. Bands should expect outdoor acoustics, weather considerations, professional advance work, and a show capable of projecting across a large audience. Atrium Health Amphitheater is one of Macon’s biggest live-music targets and is best viewed as a major career-stage venue rather than a routine local booking.
