Black Sheep Burrito & Brews @ The Brewery is a live-music option for working musicians. Restaurant and bar co-located with Bad Shepherd Beer Company, offering craft beer, food and live-music programming. The programming gives performers a useful picture of how music fits the room and what kind of show the venue supports. The music mix includes Live music, restaurant/bar. Artists considering a date here should compare instrumentation, stage footprint, volume, and audience expectations with the venue's established format. The strongest match will be acts that can work comfortably within the room's live-music pattern. That established activity gives artists a practical basis for comparing the room with other active local venues. A focused, professional set that suits the room's scale and audience should make the strongest impression. For routing and show planning, its recurring or current use for live performers makes it a practical lead. Musicians should tailor the set and presentation to the audience setting and confirm event-specific logistics before committing to a date.

Elk City Records is an independent used-record shop in Charleston's Elk City district that also makes room for in-store live performances. The setting is naturally intimate and music-minded, favoring solo artists, small groups and acts that benefit from playing to record collectors at close range. This is less about production and more about songs, personality and fitting the culture of the shop.
Read the whole thingLola's Pizza in Charleston’s South Hills is a Neapolitan-style restaurant and bar that brings local talent into its live-music nights. The setting includes craft cocktails, local beer, and a dog-friendly patio, so the music functions as part of a relaxed neighborhood experience rather than a formal concert. The restaurant is family-friendly, making this a better fit for approachable local acts than aggressive late-night material. Artists who can create atmosphere while still giving diners a reason to listen should work well here.
