Vino Mas

Venue review

The musician's read

Vino Mas is a retail wine store where people can buy bottles, share glasses, and make the sort of lasting memories that usually begin with “we only meant to stop in for one.” Music happens Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Wednesday is a jam session. The booking reality is specific: local acts only, mostly regular performers, with new acts entering only through cancellations. This is a relationship-driven room, not a calendar that needs filling. Public review excerpts describe a friendly, social wine experience with a good vibe, wine choices, and even enough beer and spirits to keep the non-oenophiles from staring into the middle distance. That suits acoustic solo artists, duos, jazz, folk, singer-songwriters, roots, mellow covers, and players who understand that the music should enrich conversation rather than prosecute it. Performers provide their own sound system and gear. Advance power, speaker placement, floor area, volume limits, load-in, parking, set time, breaks, payment, food or drink arrangement, merchandise, and settlement. No house engineer, backline, ticketing, or compensation terms are published, and a cancellation slot may have its own parameters, so ask every practical question before assuming the opportunity is standard. Booking should be approached through the current local-music network and cancellation route, with a direct live-performance link, simple lineup description, and a polished, low-drama pitch. Vino Mas is a selective local wine-bar date for artists who can play close, sound elegant, and make a room linger a little longer over the glass.
